Dzizdzo's Soup

Makes 6-8 Servings
After Dzizdo retired, he
started cooking this soup for the grandchildren. When they visited their
grandparents home, they would sit at the kitchen counter in the winter and
enjoy a cup of hot soup. Dzizdo would always pick out extra pieces of hot
dogs for the grandchildren's servings because he knew they loved them the
most. Even when the grandchildren came home from college to visit, they
would ask for this soup in the winter!
Ingredients

4 cans chicken broth |

¼ cup rice |
|
4 celery stalks sliced |
|
½ onion sliced |
|
8 hot dogs sliced |
Directions
- Pour chicken broth into medium pan.
- Add rice, celery, onion, and hot dogs.
- Bring to boil.
- Lower heat and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Serve plain or with a tablespoon of sour cream in each serving dish.
